Northeast Oklahoma Climate Reality

Why Trees Fail in Northeast Oklahoma

Signs you need tree health care include dead or cracked branches, heavy canopy overgrowth touching roofs, cavity rot at trunk unions, storm-split limbs resting on structures, or roots interfering with plumbing and foundations. Addressing these issues early prevents emergency property damage during Oklahoma storm season.

Climbing Standards: ANSI Z133 certified ropes and saddles.

Pruning Code: ANSI A300 natural target pruning cuts.

Turf Care: Controlled lowering lines prevent ground rutting.

Methodical Execution

Our 6-Step Technical Tree Process

1

1. On-Site Inspection & Structural Assessment

Austin Joice inspects the tree's health, lean, branch unions, and proximity to obstacles.

2

2. Drop-Zone & Rigging Setup

Rigging blocks and Port-a-Wrap friction devices are anchored to establish controlled lowering zones.

3

3. Technical Execution

Specialized climbing or aerial equipment is used to systematically perform tree health care piece by piece.

4

4. Controlled Lowering

Heavy timber sections and brush are lowered via arborist ropes to avoid turf compaction and landscape damage.

5

5. Chipping & Debris Haul-Off

Limbs are processed through commercial Vermeer chippers and loaded into hydraulic trailers for haul-off.

6

6. Final Grounds Cleanup & Walkthrough

Lawns, gardens, roofs, and drives are raked and blown clean, followed by an owner walkthrough.

Pricing Factors

The cost of tree health care around Mazie and Mayes County depends on tree height, trunk diameter, canopy spread, proximity to homes or power drops, and ground accessibility. We provide clear, honest estimates with no hidden fees and never adjust pricing based on zip codes.

“Austin, the owner of Joice Tree Service, came and gave me a free estimate on a tree that had fallen on my shed during a storm. He was one of the few who actually returned my call, and texted/called me when he was headed here. Austin showed up when he said he would, and gave me a very fair bid. He was clear about what he was going to do to keep damage to my shed to a minimum. He detailed my options including cost impacts. We discussed ways I could save money by leaving the wood in chunks, etc. Finally, we went over what he was and wasn't going to do so there wasn't any confusion. He reviewed his qualifications, and showed me previous completed jobs. I wouldn't have any hesitation recommending him to friends & family. In fact, I'm going to have him back out to bid some tree work in the fall.”
